THE DREAMER

The Chavis, Chase Your Dreams Foundation was created in 2023 by Christia’n Chase Jarvis.

Coming from Morrow High School, on the “Soufside of Atlanta”, in Clayton County, Christia’n, regularly known as Chase, decided that he wanted to attend an out of state school after graduating high school. The idea was that, if he could tackle being out on his own in the real world, he could change the world.

However, as a high school senior, he never actually took into account how different his life would be. The highs were high and the lows were even lower than low. Nonetheless, he preserved.

Through his perseverance, he saw a disconnect. He saw that once you move out of state, you’re practically gone from everyone’s life. “Out of sight, out of mind.” He also saw how expensive books, tuition, and other things were in comparison to people that lived in the state of the university that they attended.

This Foundation was launched in order to give a sense of community, guidance, love, and as much funds as possible to someone who decided they too, wanted to explore uncharted territory. Chase was not the first Dreamer, nor will he be the last, but his ultimate goal is to make sure that no Dreamer ever feels like they have to navigate their Dreams by themselves.
